Birmingham, Cadbury World, Easter

Popular chocolate attraction, Cadbury World, is challenging families to put on their egg-splorer hats and locate five hand-crafted Easter eggs hidden at some of the city’s top venues.

The hunt will begin at 9am on Saturday 12 April with clues to the locations of the bespoke Easter eggs, created by the attraction’s in-house chocolatiers, unveiled across Cadbury World’s Twitter and Facebook pages. Participating families will have the chance to win one of five handcrafted Cadbury World Easter eggs with one lucky overall entrant winning a family pass to the attraction for the Easter weekend (18 – 21 April) along with a chocolate hamper and handcrafted Easter egg.

To be in with a chance of winning, families need to upload an image with the egg to Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #cadburyworldegg and tagging @CadburyWorld and the venue where the egg was discovered. Five winners will be chosen at random from all the images to win one of the five handcrafted eggs. The overall winner of the family pass and hamper will also be selected at random.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager, said: “This is the first time that we’ve conducted an Easter Egg hunt outside of the attraction and we’re really egg-cited about getting local families involved. We’ve got five fantastic venues lined up and if you’re especially lucky, the Caramel Bunny may also appear en route to hand out some Cadbury chocolate to lucky egg-splorers!”

Cadbury World will also be hosting an egg-citing schedule of activities throughout the Easter holidays from Saturday 5 to Sunday 27 April including a new live family show entitled ‘Chuckle Island: The Hunt for the Missing Eggs!’ (14 – 25 April).
